SP4 Gore was a member of the Commo
Section and the Headquarters Platoon.
He passed away in Springfield, IN.

Willie was a member of the Antitank
Platoon until we arrived in Japan. He
then transferred to the Military Police
Detachment in Camp Wood.

SP4 Benfield was a
member of the 1st Mortar Platoon.
He passed away in Mt. Holly, NC.
Sgt. Raymond F. Dixon
1936 - 1985
Platoon  while the unit was in Japan.
He was from Indianapolis, Indiana.
James Harvey Hale

Harvey served in Support Company
in 1953 and 1954
He retired a Battalion Chief of the
Santa Clara, CA Fire Department.

Tony served in the Second
Platoon during the Japan tour. He
later transferred to the 320th AFA.
He left the service in 1958 and
become a truck driver for automobile
carriers.
He last resided in Baltimore,
Maryland..

He was a Lineman/repairman
with New England Telephone Co for
25 years and retired .
